In this continuing series of articles, I delve deeply into the mysterious world of marketing goods and services on Google. From the last article, located here: http://igsdt.blogspot.com/2008/11/multilevel-marketing-intent-igsdt.html called Intent, I told a story about how most people will not have a clear and present focus , or intent, on the hows and whys of building a successful business on the net. In this article about consistency, I will go even further into personal insights and perspectives into the art and science of creatively marketing a business.

Its really all about consistency and the never ending desire to create a business that is self-sustaining and lucrative, using the most powerful search engine called Google. Its a fact, that if you are wanting to gain branding and bragging rights for your name and your business, you must be consistent in your writing and posting to strategic submission services, and make your content live.

Let's talk about consistency for just a moment, to begin to unravel the mystery of the failure rate of most home business owners. People simply do not get it. I have handed many people the keys to the kingdom of how to gain search engine rankings and how to obtain top positions on the net. Will they take this information and use it to their advantage, or will they simply drift and float down the river of most home business entrepreneurs, and do absolutely nothing? Most will do NOTHING! Its really an amazing thing to witness, but I have been the teller of this story so many times, and to so many people, yet they will still do nothing, and simply bitch, moan and whine to the tune of "I Am Not Making Money!"

Say you want to gain rankings on Google, where do you start and end? How do I consistently gain search engine rankings? You might have guessed it, I work consistently at my art and science.

I have many top positions on the Internet for all sorts of keywords and phrases. I write articles, press releases, blog posts and forum posts consistently. I index each of my articles to the Google spider bot, and I simply knock down positions. I am not concerned at all with the usual terms of keyword density and algorhythms, as these are another way that SEO Masters, lead people down the primrose path of thinking that gaining search engine positions is some mysterious realm that only a precious few can accomplish. There is nothing further from the truth. Its all about consistency, desire and the never give up attitude of being able to work harder than the next guy, to gain these positions.

Here again, I can write all day, every day and never grow tired of the art and science of search engine optimization. It is a passion, a drive and a never ending amazing talent that I possess, but I look at life on the net, in very simple terms. You want success? Then you absolutely have to work for your supper here folks. 12. MLM: IGSDT Intent
Intent

In this article, I dig just a little deeper into the mysterious real of MLM and network marketing to uncover another gem of worth. This article is a continued series of which this was the last in that particular series of discussions. http://igsdt.blogspot.com/2008/11/focus-in-network-marketing-igsdt.html. We learned that one of the reasons of the high failure rate in MLM marketing is the bare fact that most lose focus after time, and are destined to join yet another business, in order to make up for lost time in the last losing proposition. It should be duly noted that this is the kiss of death. The term MLM junkie is pervasive worldwide on Google. People are constantly hopping from one gig to another, to try to find the one true business that will make them money, and make that money quickly, easily and with no effort. As I have already stated, there is no such animal. For the most part, all network marketing industries are geared much the same. True, there are those businesses that are stable, and designed for long term gain, rather than short term rewards, but these are only a precious few.

Intent will be the focus of this article. What do I mean by intent? It is the direct action that clearly defines your goals and objectives so that you may set about the path to finding that business that will provide stability and long term rewards. Intent is another area where people fail. Their intentions may start out great, but in the grand scheme of the net, more than likely, they will simply drift away, without giving the business adequate time to develop and prosper. You know, everyone talks about the 95% failure rate in home business, but no one tells you how to safeguard yourself into seeing that you are not one of the mass failures. They will tell you that their businesses is the best, and most effective pre-launch MLM widget to ever be produced and there are literally millions of people from around the world that will be joining. You better get in quick, or you will lose they say.

If your intent is not clearly defined, in other words, if you have not set down, and actually written out a business plan of action, then you are probably destined to fall to the masses. If your intent is make money online, then you entirely miss the whole process of focus and intent. You are simply floundering and surfing Google to find the easiest and fastest way to riches. Let me interject here, there are simply no businesses like that. ALL network marketing businesses will require time, patience, effort and a long term commitment, in order to thrive and prosper. If you have fallen for the line of bull that says jump on board with me, because I am making $40 grand per month in the business, and I can show you how to do that as well, you have just been sucked into the oldest trick in the book. Any moron that will tell you a story like that, is nothing more than a liar and scam artist.

I have been in the MLM and networking business for years. Even though my stock in trade is SEO, I still have to be vitally involved, in order to know how to write about these businesses. I know powerful Internet and Network Marketing legends, that in truth, just make a nice living. If you fall into the thinking pattern that people like Ewan Chia, Derek Giehl and other big promoters through email marketing are rich and powerful beyond theirs, and yours, wildest dreams, then you are simply falling for another trick in the book. You see, the secret to promoting successfully on the net, is to promote yourself. Other people try to pattern successful people, or duplicate, what they are doing to achieve that success. It is essential to portray positively, their positions, but in all likelihood, they are simply just like you and me, and eeking out a living from a home business. I say this in all honesty, and NOT to criticize anyone or any particular business, but simply to break this incessant thinking pattern that so many newbie marketers have about building a successful business on the Internet.

I am successful within the realm of home businesses. What exactly does this mean? I have developed a business, that is solely driven by own efforts. Search engine optimization, is the art and science of promoting websites to top positions on Google, Yahoo, MSN, WindowsLive and all the other search engines. I have steadily worked for over 5 long and grueling years to learn my craft, and I have become one of the top rated SEO Masters currently working on Google. I am in the top 5% of money earners on the net. Now, this leads to another question in your mind, I am sure. How much money do I make? Of course, I am not going to try to convince you that I am rich, famous, wealth, good looking and have blonde 20 year olds holding on to me as we traipse across the night club circuit. It is far from that my friend. I am absolutely rich and wealthy because I Do What I Want to Do, Go Where I Want to Go, and am NOT chained by a regular J-O-B. Is that rich, YES. Is that wealthy, beyond your wildest dreams, but in reality, I am a guy who writes his ass off about 16-18-20 hours per day.

Is success on Google easy to accomplish? NO. Will you get rich from a home based business? NO. Will you be able to live life on your own terms? YES. Will you become famous, wealthy and become a member of the jet set? NO Will you become a happier, healthier and more motivated person for your family and friends to be around? That is entirely your choice!

I want you to get one thing out of these articles, if you get nothing else at all. Most of the crap that you see on the Internet is just that, CRAP. I am sure the gurus are going to love to read this in the future, but it is simply the truth. I have built my entire Internet business, and my life around the TRUTH. I ask nothing from anyone, except to listen to what I say about marketing online. It really is the toughest job, that you will ever love.

13. Multilevel Marketing: IGSDT

Another article in a series called IGSDT, concerning multilevel marketing, and the reasons that most people will simply not be able to make money from an online business. Why is the failure rate (95%) so high in MLM marketing? There are a variety of reasons for this, and I will share with you, my personal perspectives on some of the most prevalent ones.

Excitement

Ok, so you have just joined yet another greatest pre-launch business on Google. You have listened to the guru leaders of the organization closely, and you have fallen for their excited attitudes concerning your money making potential with this or that, company. They have told you the earning potentials, and now, you are ready to begin a new life, and new project and are fully dedicated to building your business into a wealth creating system that will make you money with very little effort on your part. You simply do what they do, and you will make money!

This is part of the MLM business that sickens me. You see, you have not the sphere of influence that these leaders have. They may have tens of thousands of people within their database to contact about their latest widget find. The can send out emails, or get in touch with their strong downlines, and be able to bring many people into the organization, with just a simple wave of their magic MLM wand.

So, where does this leave you? You are just one man, or woman, who wants to be involved with some type of home business. You have read (you think) about this company, and you fully believe every word that you powerful upline sponsor is telling you about YOUR ability to make money. You are so enthused and excited about the possibilities, that you fail to understand that you are already involved in the business, but really have NO clear cut way to knowing exactly how to promote that business. In other words, your EXCITEMENT is the cause of the problem right from the startup.

Know this one thing. That site they have handed you, or most likely sold to you, is nothing more than a piece of digital trash. In other words, it is NOT going to be promotable on the search engines. The spiders of Google will see this site as a blank sheet of paper. The leaders will tell you what a great and appealing marketing site it is, but in essence, it is simply not.

Your excitement has already led you into believing that other people will need to join your business, because it is so new, so revolutionary, and so well thought out, that you know that your friends and family will have to join it. This is the kiss of death thinking that will lead you to understand that in the months to come, NO ONE cares. Your lack of understanding these few essential fact based essentials in this area, will eventually lead you to having NO success in your chosen greatest home business. You will begin to develop that gnawing in the pit of your stomach, that you have chosen the wrong business for you.
